JKR has confirmed this title...YAY! Who do you think it is? She has said that it's neither Harry nor Voldemort. Is Neville Half Blood? He first comes to mind because of the Prophecy, I dunno. What do you think?
**She also said that there were a lot of hints to how the series ends in book 2. Now I must read it again!

[glow=red,2,300]I think Neville was full blood because his parents were Aurors so they must have both been Wizards[/glow]

[glow=blue,2,300]Like Meg said, I believe that the Half-Blood Prince is Dean Thomas. If you read about Dean's background on her website under the Edits after you click on the coffee mug, you will see what I'm talking about. Dean's background was supposed to be talked about in the beginning chapters of CoS, but JKR decided to cut it to go more in detail with Neville's background. Dean Thomas always thought he was born from muggle parents, and when he got his acceptance letter he was really surprised. His father was a wizard, and was killed by the Death Eaters when he refused to join them. And if Dean Thomas's father was a king, it would explain why the Death Eaters would want him, because his father would have had 'some' power to influence more people. Get what I'm saying? Anywho, that's why I think it's Dean Thomas.[/glow]

I see...quick question, were either of Neville's parents born Muggles?

See, one thing about Dean is that JKR says that his history will never be in the books. I still think it's Neville. See, maybe one of them were born Muggle. That would mean he is a Half Blood. You know, Harry's mom was Muggle born, but she still was a great Witch. That also means Harry is a Half Blood. I dunno, I still think it's Neville. Not Dean.

[glow=blue,2,300]Actually, I have another idea of who it might be. Has anyone thought of Hagrid? He's a half-blood, and for all we know, his mother might have been Queen of the giants!!![/glow]

Oh, good thinking...but you know, returning to the subject of neville, The prophecy said someone like Voldemort, which means Neville is a halfblood too. See? So it very well could be Neville. I am not counting that one out. Hagrid would be fun though. I still don't think it's Dean...
