*walks into the classroom late and practly runs to the front of the class* OK, today will be our first unit on animals. Now one of my favorite animals of study is the mooncalf. Can anyone tell me anything about the moon calf? *i look around the room and see no hands* Of corse not, OK, well, a Mooncalf is a strange creature that lives in a burrow. It only comes out at the full moon, when it dances on its enormous flat feet, sometimes leaving intricate patterns in wheatfields (much to the confusion of Muggles). The silvery dung of the mooncalf, if collected before the sun comes up, makes an excellent fertilizer. Which our Herbology teacher has some, if you would like to see it, as her to show you. Now I doubt any of you have seen a moomcalf before, so i took the liberty of looking one up. *grabs a book off my desk and flips through the pages* Ah, here we go, the Mooncalf. *passes the book around so you can see what it looks like* *as the book is passed around i shuffle papers on my desk then hand a pile out* please turn to page 394 in your books please, then answer the questions on the paper below. *i sit down at my desk and start grading my papers from last weeks homework.*
