Hey. I am aware that we only have 3 memebers including myself but i want to start posting my fanfic. I started writing this on another site but never got to finish. I figure this was a perfect oppurtunity. You can post here and tell me if you like it or not.
INTRODUCTION
Let me take you back to 1999. It was Acacia’s first year at Hogwarts. Her hands trembled as she boarded the Hogwarts Express. She had been dreading this day since she first found out her parents were witches and wizards. She found a compartment, the first one that was empty, and went in. Her wild and messy hair fell in her face as she wrote in her diary. The door opened and in walked a young boy with blonde hair that was slicked back. He had two large kids standing behind him.
“Get the hell out of here, loser, this is our compartment.” the boy said. She looked up at him with her big brown eyes and pale complexion. She grabbed her stuff and ran off. His evil laughter echoed in her head as she ran.
From that day on she avoided being seen or heard. In class she sat in the back and was rarely called on. It was like she wasn’t even there. She did her work and everything but barely ever spoke. Occasionally she would be bumped into in the hall but still no one noticed her.
Our story begins in the very large house of Acacia. Her parents are one of the richest wizards in the wizarding world. Acacia is now going into her fifth year at Hogwarts. Though she is rich and now very beautiful she covers her face with crazy hair and wears old robes. She doesn’t want anyone to know she is rich, it would only bring attention to her, and at this point that is the last thing she wants.
CHAPTER 1
“Mom, please, please can I not go to Hogwarts this year.” I begged as she watched her mom cook breakfast.
“Acacia, you are going and that is that.” she said sternly.
“Mom, Hogwarts, it’s just not my thing.” I told her.
“Not your thing? NOT YOUR THING!!” she yelled, “You are a witch and a damn good one. If only you weren’t so shy you might be able to become as half as successful as your sister!”
“I don’t really care how successful Zoe is. I’m not Zoe!!” I yelled at her. Zoe is my older sister. The one I'm always compared to. While she was in Hogwarts she was a prefect, head girl, and got the best grades in her class. Now she is traveling around the world studying magic of all different people.
“But you are like Zoe.” my mom said more calmly, “You are intelligent, you have the power to be whoever you want to be. You just need to stop doubting yourself.”
“That’s kind of hard when no one knows I exist.” I replied lowering her head in shame.
“So make them know you exist. I know you are much more shy at school then you are at home.” she said placing her hand on my shoulder. She leaned over and kissed my forehead.
“Thanks mom. For the talk.” I said and began walking to my room. My mom’s words ran through my head.
‘How can I make them know I exist?’ I thought to myself. I entered my bedroom and walked to my mirror. Then she thought of a plan. A plan that would help people notice her.
‘Since I can’t use magic out of school I’m going to need Muggle stuff.’ she thought as her plan unfolded in her head. Finding Muggle things wouldn’t be hard since a part of her family was Muggle. Her dad’s sister is a Muggle so some of her cousins are Muggle. She decided she would need to take a trip to their house.
“Mom,” I called down the steps, “I need Aunt Kirsten’s number.”
“Why?” she replied.
“Just taking your advice.” I said.
“Come down here and get it.” I ran downstairs and copied the number down on my hand. Once I ran back upstairs I picked up the phone and dialed the number.
“Hey, this is Acacia.” I said when my cousin, Meagan picked up.
“Oh, hi. How are you doing?” she asked.
“I’m doing good. I need to ask you a favor.” I said.
“Sure, anything.” she said.
“Ok, can I come over your house so we can discuss this further.”
“Yea, you can come over tomorrow at 12:30.” she told me.
“I’ll see you then.” I said and hung up the phone. Satisfied with how things were going so far I laid down on my bed.
‘I hope this works.’ I thought to myself.
